The Tortora Brayda Institute (TBI) is an independent, nonprofit think tank dedicated to helping close the gap between technological progress and societal readiness. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in San Francisco, California, TBI brings together leaders, researchers, innovators, and emerging talent from industry, government, academia, and civil society to explore complex challenges and develop practical, forward-looking solutions.
Through research, education, thought leadership, and cross-sector partnerships, we work to advance responsible innovation, strengthen cybersecurity and resilience, inform governance, and prepare current and future leaders to navigate a rapidly changing world.
