The TBI Fellows Program is a signature initiative of the Tortora Brayda Institute
It is designed to bring exceptional expertise into service of TBI’s mission: advancing responsible, inclusive, and accountable artificial intelligence and cybersecurity by convening leaders across industry, government, and academia to develop partnership models, governance frameworks, talent pathways, and applied guidance that translate emerging technologies into societal benefit.
About the Fellows Program
TBI Fellows are nominated and selected based on their demonstrated expertise, collaborative leadership, integrity, and commitment to societal impact. Selection as a Fellow is both a recognition of achievement and an invitation to contribute meaningfully to TBI’s work as an independent, non-partisan platform for responsible innovation, digital trust, and cross-sector partnership development.
Fellows support TBI’s mission through applied research, thought leadership, program/task-force participation, policy and standards engagement, speaker and convening activities, mentorship, and coalition-building. Their work helps transform complex challenges in AI, cybersecurity, cloud/data, responsible technology adoption, and digital governance into practical tools, guidance, and partnership models that can be used by leaders and institutions across sectors.
The Fellows Program is intentionally outcome-oriented. Fellows may contribute to policy briefs, partnership playbooks, standards notes, public-interest tools, roundtables, webinars, research compendiums, and pilot initiatives. These outputs are designed to help organizations and decision-makers move from discussion to action, strengthening responsible technology adoption while elevating public trust, institutional resilience, and societal benefit.
As part of the TBI community, Fellows serve as neutral conveners, trusted advisors, and builders of practical collaboration. They bring diverse perspectives and professional experience to TBI’s centers, programs, and initiatives, helping bridge gaps between technical innovation, policy, ethics, governance, and implementation.
The Fellows Program reflects a core TBI belief: the future of advanced technology will be shaped not only by what we build, but by how we partner. Through this program, TBI is cultivating a global network of leaders committed to turning partnership into outcomes that serve people, institutions, and the public good.
